When you’ve been going to PDI Users Conference as long as I have, you realize it’s not like most other technology conferences—and I mean that in the best way possible. Yes, I’m biased, but I really feel that UC is a can’t-miss event for the entire PDI community.
When I attended my first UC way back in 1998 (a whole different century), we probably had 300 attendees. At the time, that seemed like a pretty big group for such a small company—but we’re now expecting three times as many attendees for UC 2023 in Denver this August.
Between PDI Connections, webinars, and small user groups, there are many ways to get more ROI from your PDI products. But, if you want to maximize the value of your PDI experience, you should consider attending PDI Users Conference.
And, just because it’s time-sensitive, I wanted to let you know that you can still get the early-bird discount rate as long as you register by May 31. This can save you $600 off the standard conference rate!
Here are 3 good reasons to attend UC 2023
If you’re still on the fence about UC, here’s something to think about. As a trainer/educator at PDI, I can confirm that our goal for UC is to connect you with the right people and resources to help you thrive professionally—all in a 4-day immersive training and networking experience.
Based on my experience at UC events spanning two decades, I’d like to highlight three key areas that most attendees find incredibly valuable:
- Training on the products you use every day—including more practical hands-on learning with lab exercises this year.
- Exchanging best practices with PDI consulting managers and other customers from across the PDI community.
- Networking and getting to know your colleagues better in the fun, casual settings of Big Night Out and Game Night.
It’s all about collaboration
One of my favorite aspects about UC is the collaborative approach that unites PDI employees, vendors, and customers in a unique format for sharing ideas not just on PDI products but the entire convenience ecosystem in general.
Your participation is at the forefront of everything we do at UC. The active customer involvement and relationship-building make UC feel more like an annual family reunion than a technology conference. It’s a place where what you do and say actually matters, because we’re all collectively solving the industry’s toughest challenges.
More opportunities for business leaders
I also wanted to point out that we’re continually elevating the level of training opportunities to include new items such as Marketing and Innovation Forums, along with more thought leadership sessions. Which leads me to my point that UC isn’t exclusively for product users.
Please let your leadership team know that we now have special tracks that focus on long-term industry perspectives and ways to build strategic value—with a healthy dose of idea exchange among executive peers.
