Terms and Conditions for Participation in the PDI Demo Loyalty Program

General

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the PDI Demo Loyalty Program (“Demo”) shown at the PDI Technologies stand at the trade fair UNITI expo 2024.
  2. The Demo Loyalty Program is offered solely for product demonstration purposes, and only during May 14-16, 2024 for attendees of UNITI expo 2024 in Stuttgart, Germany. Any further collection of points before or after this timeframe is not possible.
  3. By participating in the PDI Demo Loyalty Program, you accept these terms and conditions.
  4. We will process your data according to the PDI Privacy Policy.

Who can participate

  1. Natural persons are eligible to participate if they meet all of the following criteria:
    1. They have reached the age of 18
    2. Are registered visitors of the “UNITI expo 2024” trade fair
  2. We reserve the right to deny participation to individuals who have no legitimate business purpose to ask for a product demonstration and/or would not be among the usual buyers of products and services from PDI Technologies, Inc. and its affiliates.

Process and purpose of participation

  1. Trade fair visitors interested in the Demo can come to the main booth of LOMOSOFT GmbH (showing the PDI Technologies brand) number 5B21 and ask for a product demonstration of the Demo.
  2. Participating at the Demo gives visitors the opportunity to learn more about products and services offered by PDI Technologies, Inc. and its affiliates.
  3. Visitors can accumulate demo loyalty points by receiving demonstrations of products at the booth (i.e. PDI Point of Sale, PDI Logistics International etc.). For each demonstration, 1000 demo loyalty points are awarded.

Terms and Conditions for Participation in the PDI Demo Giveaway (“Giveaway”)

Conditions and modalities of participation

General

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the “Demo Loyalty Program” giveaway by LOMOSOFT GmbH. This giveaway takes place at the trade fair UNITI expo 2024.
  2. This giveaway is organized by LOMOSOFT GmbH, Kaiserleistr. 8a, 63067 Offenbach, Germany – a subsidiary of PDI Technologies, Inc.
  3. The giveaway takes place exclusively during UNITI expo 2024 from May 14th to May 16th (at noon) 2024 in Stuttgart, Germany. The organizers of UNITI expo 2024 are not involved in this giveaway.
  4. By participating in the giveaway, you accept these terms and conditions.
  5. We will process your data according to the PDI Privacy Policy. 

Who can participate

  1. Natural persons are eligible to participate if they meet all of the following criteria:
    1. They have reached the age of 18
    2. They have their permanent residence within either of: the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway
    3. Are registered visitors of the “UNITI expo 2024” trade fair
  2. Employees and contractors for PDI Technologies, Inc. and all its affiliates globally, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation.
  3. We reserve the right to deny participation to individuals who have no legitimate business purpose to ask for a product demonstration and/or would not be among the usual buyers of products and services from PDI Technologies, Inc. and its affiliates.
  4.  We also reserve the right to exclude persons from receiving the advertised prize at our own discretion if there are legitimate reasons, in particular in the event of abuse of access to or execution of the giveaway, breaches of these terms and conditions or in the event of misleading information.

Process of participation

  1. Printed demo “loyalty cards” will be available at the main stand of LOMOSOFT GmbH (showing the PDI Technologies brand) and will also be distributed by contractors and employees of LOMOSOFT GmbH and its affiliates during the trade fair. Digital demo “loyalty cards” may also be distributed prior to the trade fair. Each demo “loyalty card” has a unique serial number.
  2. Trade fair visitors wishing to participate must come to the main booth of LOMOSOFT GmbH (showing the PDI Technologies brand) number 5B21 and present their demo “loyalty card” for activation in the demo system. Visitors who wish to participate will also have to provide their visitor badge scan data, including an email address, first name, surname, job title, company name, country, to be informed in case they won the prize.
  3. Visitors can accumulate demo loyalty points by receiving demonstrations of products at the booth (i.e. PDI Point of Sale, PDI Logistics International etc.). For each demonstration, 1000 demo loyalty points are awarded.  Demo loyalty points can only be earned once per demo.
  4. Any demo loyalty points collected are redeemed into participation tickets for the giveaway at noon on May 16th 2024. Every 1000 points correspond to 1 participation ticket.
  5. Visitors must keep their demo “loyalty cards” in order to claim their prize if they win.

Winner selection and notification process

  1. Each unique “loyalty card” number gets entered into a list based on the number of prize tickets it has accumulated. For example, 2000 accumulated points means 2 entries in the list.
  2. The winner of the giveaway will be selected using a random draw. We will use a digital randomizer tool in Microsoft Excel that randomly picks one entry from our list of participants.
  3. The winner will be notified via email up to 10 days after the end of UNITI expo 2024. We will also notify booth visitors in person at the booth of the serial number on the “loyalty card” on May 16th after the end of the giveaway by making the winning serial number of the “loyalty card” available at the booth. 

Prize details

  1. The giveaway is a virtual reality headset.
  2. We reserve the right to substitute the giveaway with another item of similar value

Prize distribution modalities

  1. The winner has to provide their shipping address of choice within their country of residence by replying to the announcement email within 14 calendar days of being notified they won.
  2. We will send the prize to the address provided within a reasonable timeframe. Participants assure that the personal details they provide, in particular their first name, surname and address, are accurate. In the event of incorrect information, entitlement to the prize will be forfeited.
  3. We reserve the right to ask that the winner covers additional costs such as shipping and customs duties and any applicable taxes, if such costs exceed the amount of 50 Euros.

Disclaimers

  1. LOMOSOFT GmbH and its affiliates cannot be held liable for changes to the giveaway conditions. We reserve the right to make changes to the giveaway and its execution in the event of unforeseen circumstances as well as circumstances beyond our control. We are not responsible if the giveaway process must be interrupted, postponed, or canceled due to circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances cannot be used to claim compensation or other forms of obligations.
  2. Any liability for damages, including for breaches of duty by our employees and vicarious agents, arising from or in connection with the giveaway is limited to cases of intent or gross negligence and injury to life, body and health or under the Product Liability Act.

    In case of negligent breach, liability is limited to the breach of those obligations, whose breach jeopardizes the achievement of the purpose of the contract and on whose compliance you as a customer may rely on regularly. In the last-mentioned case, we are only liable for the foreseeable, typical contractual damage. 

Law and jurisdiction

  1. German law applies and the jurisdiction is Offenbach am Main.
  2. Legal recourse is excluded.
