When people ask me what I like best about PDI Connections Live, I always reply with the same answer: No two attendees walk away with the same experience. And that’s exactly the point of the conference. Your role is unique, so your time at Connections Live 2026 should be, too.
With four days to fill at the Gaylord Texan Resort from August 23–26, your smartest move is to stop trying to do everything and start building an agenda around what you actually do. That’s why we’ve organized our entire education lineup into six dedicated learning tracks this year.
Find the track that fits your role
Let’s walk through your options so you can find the sessions most relevant to your job. And if you don’t see something that works for you, don’t worry. You can always customize your agenda as much as you want.
Retail Operations
If you run stores or support the people who do, this is your home base. Get hands-on with the PDI Enterprise pricebook, dig into POS and foodservice inventory, explore mobile with Datalogic, and see how AI is reshaping day-to-day retail operations. There are even customer discussion groups organized by site count, so you’re learning alongside operators similar to you.
Pricebook
Pricebook pros, this one’s built for the work you live in. Sessions cover PBDX, mastering pricebook data with Excel, rebate management, inventory types, lottery, and AI for pricebook teams. Expect practical, roll-up-your-sleeves content you can use as soon as you get back to the office.
Technology and Security
For IT and security teams, we’re covering the topics keeping you up at night: next-gen firewalls, SQL troubleshooting and maintenance, compliance, store technology supportability, and “Smarter Defenses for a Smarter Threat Landscape.” You’ll find AI built for IT and security throughout the agenda.
Fuel, Wholesale, and Warehouse
If your world is energy and supply chains, explore the full PDI ecosystem—wholesale ERP, fuel, warehouse, card processing—along with logistics, fuel pricing, and propane and commercial fueling. One session I’m especially excited about is “Unleashing AI in Fuel Pricing.”
Engagement, Loyalty, and Category Management
This one’s for the marketers who want to see what’s coming next in loyalty, subscriptions, and payments. Sessions on the PDI Mobile Experience Manager, Experience Designer, and “Understanding the 2030 Consumer” will help you meet customers where they’re headed.
Financial and Accounting
Finance teams, build your agenda around cash management, lottery reconciliation, GL best practices, advanced financial reporting with FYIsoft, and AI for financials. We have everything you need to close faster and report smarter.
If you’re looking for a complete picture, each track has its own downloadable session guide on the Connections Live Choose Your Path page. Just find the one for your role and start mapping out your agenda.
What every track has in common
No matter which path you choose, a few things hold true.
Every track offers a beginner and an advanced route, so whether it’s your first Connections Live or your tenth, there’s a path for you. Many tracks include hands-on labs (bring your laptop or borrow one of ours), and most kick off with an optional Sunday boot camp on August 23 for a deeper, guided start before the main event begins.
You’ll also notice one theme woven through all six tracks: AI. From fuel pricing and loyalty to security, you’ll see how PDIQ—AI embedded directly into fuel and convenience workflows—is showing up in the tools you already use.
And of course, some of the best parts of Connections Live 2026 don’t fit neatly into a specific track. I’m talking about all the things you can do between sessions or in the evenings:
- Coffee talks
- Customer user groups
- Speed networking
- PDI partner booths in the Expo
- A Texas-sized Big Night Out party you don’t want to miss
